Personality shift

In The Lore, a personality shift is the transition of a character's personality from a broader personality to a finer definition which integrates better into the working canon. Typically, personality shifts happen naturally over time as Aaden understands the concept of the character better and more intimately, usually with some amount of relatability between him and the character. Characters, while aware of the concept, aren't able to directly control it or "feel" it, as such a change is gradual and usually drawn out over long periods of time. Importantly, older personalities remain canon to the time period they were relevant, rather than being retconned.
