Cag
Cags, also referred to as generic aadenboy cats, are a species which bear many similarities to the common house cat. The species is a broad category and is not biological. Cags are typically anthropomorphized and come in a variety of forms, shapes, and postures. All of the cat characters in The Lore, with the exception of Coquí, are cags.
Ontology
The minimal set of features common between cags are a head and a torso, with the head consisting of at minimum eyes and ears, though a mouth is also common. Cags without any established lore are most often monopedal, and are jokingly described as an "invasive species" due to how often Aaden doodles them. Their internal anatomy is more closely modeled after humans rather than house cats, and some features of their anatomy are stylized and simplified, usually composing of only basic primitives like cylinders and spheres—the head in particular often has no "snout" shape.
For cags which have paws, it is most common for the paw to be portrayed as a simple sphere, with digits shown if necessary. The paws usually have up to four or five digits, lacking any paw pads. The front arms of quadrupeds have greater mobility than normal. All cags are plantigrade.
All cags are capable of speech, and have the same diet and vision as humans. The eyes of a cag, while usually ambiguous (read: dot eyes), are like that of a human's, with a white sclera rather than a colored surface. The overall mouth also shares similar properties to humans, with the addition of pronounced fangs.
Features
The actual features of each cag is highly diverse, and any one cag can be wildly different from the norm. Most commonly, the fur is smooth and silky, being a solid color throughout the body. Common additions to distinguish cags are tufts of fur which protrude from the cheeks or forehead, whiskers (usually three per side), the shape of the tail, and or the design of the eyes.
