Pillars[note 1] was a strategic turn-based last-man-standing Roblox game with the key focus being surviving on your own pillar, as the name would suggest. The game was originally a derivative of a manually hosted minigame created by @bitedacooki, before becoming the "official" version somewhere down its lineage.
Pillars was created on April 2nd, 2022, and remained in development up until January 20th, 2024, its last update. During this time, it broke 2,250 visits, alongside earning revenue as Robux from its two game passes.
Gameplay
Upon starting a round, up to eight players would be put onto their own pillar inside the arena. Every player took a turn performing one of five actions, their turn ending and being passed onto the next person once they performed said action or ran out of time. Once each player has had two chances at a turn, the lava would rise by one unit, or four studs. Once only one person was left standing, they would be declared the winner and the round would end.
The actions were:
- Tower
- Tower Up — Raises your pillar up one unit.
- Tower Side — Extends any non-vertical side by one unit.
- Tower Nudge — Pushes your pillar in any non-vertical direction by one unit.
- Token
- Token Get — Gives you any random token.
- Token Use — Allows you to use any of your tokens.
Towering allowed you to traverse the arena and move away from the lava without spending any tokens, however without as much power as them. Tokens on the other hand were powerful and varied, able to perform a variety of actions that could both benefit and detriment you.
Soundtrack

The game had a soundtrack of twelve different songs, each composed by @ColdWagon. Eleven of the songs are named after the tokens used in Pillars, and can be heard when playing a round, while the last song was a dedication towards aadenboy after he had left Discord, and soon after, Roblox as well.
In addition to the OST are 8-bit remixes of the Instant Death Token and Shrink Token songs, made for a 2D recreation of Pillars in an unfinished game by @ColdWagon.

A wiki for Pillars begun on October 20th, 2023, however never took off. While it was marginally worked on every once in a while, it fell out of use with inactivity and eventual departure. An archive of the wiki (as Miraheze will eventually delete it) exists at Pillars Wiki/Archive.
